Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by IMS — International Moving Services in connection with the planning, coordination, and execution of international relocations for private and corporate clients.
2. Services
IMS provides moving volume estimation, packing, transport, and logistics services for household goods, personal effects, vehicles, and other items as agreed upon. The scope of services is determined by the individual offer based on the volume survey submitted by the client.
3. Volume Survey & Quotation
The online volume calculator provides an estimated relocation volume based on the items and rooms selected by the client. This estimate serves as the basis for our quotation. The final volume and price may vary depending on the actual goods to be moved.
4. Client Obligations
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the items to be moved, the origin and destination addresses, and any access restrictions. Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in additional charges.
5. Data Protection
Personal data collected through the volume survey is processed solely for the purpose of providing a relocation quotation and coordinating the move. Data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). We do not share personal data with third parties without the client's consent, except where necessary for the execution of the move (e.g., customs authorities, shipping partners).
6. Liability
IMS is liable for damages to goods during transport in accordance with applicable international moving regulations. Clients are advised to declare high-value items separately. Liability is limited to the declared value of goods unless additional insurance coverage is arranged.
7. Cancellation & Changes
Cancellations or changes to the move date must be communicated in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled move date. Late cancellations may incur cancellation fees as outlined in the individual quotation.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of IMS — International Moving Services.
9. Amendments
IMS reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of the client's submission shall apply.
